CoP Webinar: Ligature & Suicide Risks: Complying with CMS Conditions of Participation and TJC Requirements

There has been a great deal of survey activity around the prevention of suicidal patients form harm or strangulation.  The Joint Commission stated this was one of the top four areas of focus.  CMS has promulgated requirements for hospitals to prevent ligature risks and self-harm from patients that are suicidal.  This webinar will also cover the CMS proposed 15-page guidelines changes.  The CMS amended tag numbers discuss what units need to be ligature resistant, patient assessments that must be completed and what should be in the environmental assessments.  This webinar will discuss education and policy and procedure requirements.  Multiple resources will also be provided in this program.
